Primary frame boundary
Each quote names the primary frame type, steel grade, and whether hot-rolled steel or built-up plate is proposed.
Independent alternative sourcing
FrameLink Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. A search for dean steel buildings is treated as a reference for the building problem, not as an order for that brand. The desk asks factories for quotations on alternative pre-engineered steel buildings after the use, clear span, eave height, loads, jurisdiction, quantity, and destination are written in one brief.
Independent sourcing service. Not dean steel buildings, not a manufacturer or an authorized dealer, and not affiliated with dean steel buildings. We source and compare alternative products; we do not claim to supply the original brand.
Each quote names the primary frame type, steel grade, and whether hot-rolled steel or built-up plate is proposed.
Purlin and girt spacing, flange brace notes, and the cladding the secondary framing is meant to carry stay in the same package.
Ask whether the wall and roof are single skin or insulated metal panel, and which thermal transmittance or R-value the supplier is pricing.
Shell, delivered, installed, and turnkey are separate lines. A lower shell number is not a lower delivered total.
Request reactions for the foundation interface, anchor layout, and the calculations that match the quoted geometry rather than a generic brochure.
Freight, taxes, and site work sit on their own lines. Currency and per-unit or whole-order budget stay optional buyer notes.
These rows are buyer-defined options inside Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings and Steel Warehouses, Workshops and Hangars. They are not inventory and they are not a statement that any option matches a dean steel buildings detail.
A sample brief used to illustrate units, not a measured job, might list an 80 ft by 120 ft footprint, a 20 ft eave height, 25 ft bay spacing, an 80 ft clear span, a 20 psf design live load, a 5 psf collateral load, a 115 mph design wind speed, wind exposure category C, a 30 psf ground snow load, seismic design category B, an R-19 roof target, quantity of 1 building set, and a destination the buyer still has to name. Changing these inputs can alter engineering, material quantities or logistics. Request a revised supplier offer rather than assuming the same price. Volumetric modules move more finish off site but can fail a 12 ft transport envelope. Panelized pieces may pass a tighter gate and then need more site hours. Shell pricing that omits freight is not the same decision as a turnkey line that still excludes the slab.
Use when the floor must stay free of interior columns. Record clear span, eave height, and collateral load from ceilings or sprinklers before comparing prices.
Interior columns can shorten rafter depth. State bay spacing and whether forklifts or racking fix the column grid.
Separate the panel joint, liner, and fire-resistance rating the supplier includes from the insulation the local energy code may still require the project to show.
Dock height, leveler pits, and future mezzanine loads change the frame. Put those items in the brief even when the opening quote is shell scope.
A crane runway is a design load, not a later accessory. Name capacity, hook height, and who supplies the crane.
Door type, tail height, and wind on the open door are part of the frame brief. A warehouse quote with a small overhead door is a different system.
Open the full inquiry list to search those same families.
Open sides change wind and drift snow. Say which walls are omitted.
Vehicle height and lift pits belong in the foundation interface notes.
Racking point loads are not the same as a uniform design live load.
If people occupy a portion, separate that occupancy from the unheated shop.
Thermal transmittance and vapor control have to be in the quoted envelope, not assumed.
Slide sideways to see each use. Map a use to purchase requirements.
FrameLink Sourcing will ask factories for quotations on the written specification, quantity, destination, and scope. A budget can be per unit or for the whole order. Supplier tier is a preference, not a rating.
