A reading note can show which fields belong in a request: use, clear span, eave height, bay spacing, design live load, design dead load, wind speed, ground snow load, seismic design category, quantity, and destination. It cannot decide that a frame meets the authority having jurisdiction. That acceptance sits with the project professionals and the permit review.
Shell, delivered, installed, and turnkey remain different commercial objects. If a note discusses price, it discusses those lines, not a percentage below a number published by another website. Freight and unloading change with the destination even when the primary frame is unchanged.
Volumetric modular construction and panelized construction can both be alternatives to a rigid frame, and both can be wrong for the same pad. The transport envelope, the crane lift plan, and the foundation interface decide more than the marketing name of the method. Folding units add a second geometry, the closed size, which a steel-building photo does not show.
Use the notes beside the building options and the requirement form. Optional budget and supplier preference stay buyer notes. They are not factory ratings and they are not quotations. Purlin spacing, girt spacing, and insulated metal panel weight belong in the same note as the primary frame, because a cladding change can move the secondary design even when the clear span stays fixed. If those members are unknown, write unknown. A blank is more useful to the desk than a borrowed value from a different county.
